The Seaman’s Memorial helps us all to remember the multitude of mariners and watermen from Goole who are no longer with us. It has special significance this year which is the 200th anniversary of the opening of the port and town in 1826. To that end David Scrimgeour will talk through a brief history of Goole’s two hundred years.
